Falls are a leading cause of accidents that can lead to long term health problems. In fact, one third to one half of individuals over age 65 fall every year. If you can learn how to support yourself, use correct posture, apply the concepts of balance, and follow good safety practices, many of these accidents can be prevented.
Debbie Benz, an instructor who has been trained in the 'N Balance techniques, is offering a series of classes to help you avoid tripping, slipping, and falling. They are scheduled for February 18th, 26th, and March 3rd, 10th, 17th, and 24th. All sessions are on Monday except for February 26th. They will be in the Extension Building beginning at 9:00 A.M. Th
