If you are interested in showcasing trees, shrubs, and perennials in your winter landscape, you will enjoy this program. It is set for Tuesday, January 22nd at 1:00 p.m. in the University of Illinois Extension Building west of Benton.
Ron McCollom, University of Illinois Extension Master Gardener, will bring many live samples of plants that are important in a winter landscape as well as those that will be popular in the spring. He will also discuss plant maintenance, and how to deal with plant pests.
There is no fee for this program, and any interested person is welcome to attend. Please call the Extension Office at 439-3178 to register by January 18th so that we can have materials available. If you need a reasonable accommodation to attend this meeting, please indicate when registering.
