Signs and Symptoms of Diabetes

Here is the information from the program this past week. Call the Extension office if you would like a copy of the materials on Eating to Lower the Risk of Diabetes.

  • Are you always thirsty?
  • Do you have to go to the bathroom very often?
  • Do you always feel hungry?
  • Are your eyes blurry, or do you have trouble seeing?
  • Is your skin dry?
  • Do you feel tired and sleepy?
  • Do your feet tingle or feel numb?
  • Have you lost weight without trying?
  • Does anybody in your family have diabetes?

If you answered YES too many of these questions, you might have diabetes. You should schedule a doctor's appointment to discuss these symptoms and let him determine a diagnosis.
