Katie Zuber coordinates a wide variety of innovative, research-based programs, with a focus on Healthy Relationships for adolescents, adult couples, and within friendship groups; education and support for Parents of Teenagers; and information for Young Adults and Singles. She works with individuals, couples, and agencies/organizations to improve the quality of life throughout the entire lifespan, from babies to seniors. Zuber provides information on family transitions, relationship issues, and parenting education, and she also specializes in all topics related to diversity.

Zuber earned a dual Master's degree in Human Development & Family Studies and Social Work from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and completed her Bachelor's Degree in Human Development & Family Studies from UIUC as well. Zuber is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Her background includes working with under-served teenagers in the communities of Chicago and assisting clients as a marriage/family therapist in Clay County. Zuber also has three years of previous extension experience with University of Illinois in Wabash and Edwards counties as a Youth Development Educator supervising the 4-H program.

Zuber is a member of the Board for Heart of Olney and recently ended a three-year term on the Richland County Big Brothers/Big Sisters Board of Directors. At the state level, she serves on the Family Life Team (where she sits on the Family Life Couple Relationships Committee), and is the Ex-Officio Chairperson of the State Diversity Committee. Her professional associations include National Association of Extension 4-H Agents (NAE4-HA), and Illinois Extension Professionals for Youth Education (IEPYE), where she is the Chairperson of the Diversity Committee.
