"Sign up for 4-H Night"!

September 1st is the official start of the 4-H year.

September 18 is the date for the "Sign up for 4-H Night" . This night is for all 4-H members to attend (regardless of when your club actually has its first meeting). It would be helpful if you can decide on the projects that you want to take. The sooner you choose your projects— the sooner you will get your books. Plans are to have Hot Dogs and soda.

We hope to see you there!!

Federation members!

Your tee-shirts are now at the Extension office to be picked up.

National 4-H Week– October 5-11, 2008

The 2008 National 4-H Week theme will be "Keeping it Green." With 4-H's connection to environmental efforts, youth participating in environmental science, and 4-H's new partnership with Nickelodeon's The Big Green Help, "Keeping it Green" shows how 4-H is bridging old ideas with new to teach youth environmental stewardship and connecting youth to science-related issues. The green theme also can showcase 4-H beyond the environmental focus as 4-H's green brand is a direct connection to the organization as a whole.

If your club is planning any special activities, please call the office so we can get the information in the newsletter.
