SIGN UP NIGHT WAS GREAT!

Wabash County "Sign Up Night" was held on September 14 after school. Several members attended to re-enroll. We were excited to have 12 new members turn in their forms. Check with your leader or the office to re-enroll for the 09-10 4-H year. As soon as we receive your forms, we will get your project books ordered. Thanks for taking care of this promptly.

National 4-H Week

The 2009 National 4-H Week theme will be "Celebrate 4-H." Today's 4-H is a community of over 6 million young people, 540,000 volunteers and 3,500 professionals. As a member of this community, you are in the best place to promote what you love - 4-H!
National 4-H week is a chance for 4-H clubs across the nation to demonstrate what 4-H is all about. Activities can range from food drives, working with nursing homes or even burying a time capsule. If your club is planning something special, contact the Wabash Extension office at 262-5725.

Many Thanks

Many thanks to those who have turned in their "Fish Fry" ticket money today (September 24th).

Everyone else please turn your money in ASAP, so we will have an idea of how many we still have to sell.

Country Rhodes Volunteers Needed

Country Rhodes needs the following for their cooking crew

2 Volunteers for set-up (2 hours prior to event)

3 Volunteers for Fish Breading (1 hour prior to event through close)

3 Volunteers to refill buffet line during event

3 Volunteers to assist with cleanup and tear down

1 Volunteer as Chef's Helper

In addition to the above list, we are responsible for table/chair setup and cleanup, drinks, cups, desserts.

We will need several floating helpers (members, leaders, family members) to refill drinks, clear tables, trash collection and basically jump in to do whatever needs done.

Please let your leader know what you are willing to do, and times you are available, working together we can do a great job. The public eye will be upon us. Let's show Wabash County what a great program 4-H is and what a special group of members and volunteers we have!!
