Website Offers Practical Advice for New Parents
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
September 18, 2009
Having a baby, especially your first, brings the excitement of wanting to learn everything you can about what to expect. Now, thanks to the Parenting 24/7 website from University of Illinois Extension, practical information and advice are just a click away at www.parenting247.org.
"Parenting 24/7 provides a regular newsletter for parents of newborn to three-year-old children," reports Milly Kaiser, one of our U of I Extension family life educators. "These newsletters, which are monthly for the first year and bimonthly for the remaining years, address issues children may face as they develop."
The website also provides feature articles and videos of parents talking on a variety of topics such as, "When will baby sleep all night?" and "What to do when baby cries."
The Parenting 24/7 website offers easy access to advice from child development and family life specialists and from other parents who have experienced a particular problem.
