Character Critters is based on six lessons designed with full-color poster story sets (30 posters total) and an implementation guide to be used by youth or adult instructors. Character Critters uses a story and activity approach to teach character to preschool and kindergarten children. An illustrated animal represents each Pillar of Character (Roy the Rabbit, Tommy the Turtle, Rusty the Raccoon, Carrie the Cat, Fran the Frog, and Cindy the Crab). Also available are take-home activity sheets, reinforcement letters to parents, and lesson plans for parent meetings.
