Yea! 4-H is an after-school curriculum designed by Texas Cooperative Extension and theTexas A&M University System for Kindergarten through 2nd grade. It contains program units in six categories: orientation to 4-H, family and consumer sciences, agriculture and natural resources, science, life skills, and arts. Each unit contains a minimum of five lessons. The curriculum also suggests community service projects that support the subject areas. Inaddition, there are 15 parent newsletters on a variety of topics available in English and Spanish. The curriculum could be used in the after-school, day care, camp, or 4-H Cloverbud group setting.
