Donations to University of Illinois Extension and to Edgar County 4-H Federation are matchable - this means that for every dollar that is donated to improve general programming, the State of Illinois will provide about 100% in matching funds. This means that your dollar becomes about two dollars - and every dollar makes an impact in our ability to provide quality local programs.

If your purpose is to donate for 4-H Fairgrounds improvements, contributions are made to Edgar County 4-H Association. This is the not-for-profit organization that owns and maintains the 4-H fairgrounds. These donations are not matchable but would be greatly appreciated. Edgar County 4-H Association is in the process of major improvements to livestock facilities. A functional, user-friendly multi-purpose building was built six years ago. This building is used for numerous 4-H, Extension and HCE activities. In addition, many civic organizations and families also rent it when needing a climate-controlled, smoke- and alcohol-free facility.
