How Do I Become a Master Gardener?

The next Master Gardener training for DuPage County is scheduled for January 2011.

If you are a DuPage County resident and would like to receive information about the next DuPage Master Gardener program, you may call the DuPage Unit office at (630) 955-1123. Your name will be placed on a mailing list to receive information about the next training that will be offered. Or you may e-mail us at: dupage_co@extension.uiuc.edu to request to be placed on our mailing list.

To become a Master Gardener, you must first fill out an application and send it to the DuPage Unit office. After the horticulture staff reviews the application, you will be scheduled for an interview. If we do not have space or resources to accommodate all the qualified and interested applicants, a waiting list will be created for the following training program year.
