The Food Stamp Nutrition Education Program (FSNEP)teaches and promotes safe and healthy eating for families on a budget. The program for people eligible for food stamps focuses on nutrition, menu planning, food safety, and food budgeting. FSNEP information and workshops are available at food pantries, PADs, Head Start Program sites, WIC, public aid offices, schools, churches, community centers, and social service agencies. Program information is provided via monthly newsletters, fact sheets, program presentations, displays, cooking demonstrations/activities for youth and adult audiences.
