HARVEST ROAST--SAT. OCTOBER 10

You're invited to a celebration of fall! This fun family event features a pig roast, craft show, quilt display and bake sale. There'll be hayrides and a make it-take it craft for the kids too!

Don't worry about the weather because we'll be inside Building 2 at the DuPage County Fairgrounds on Manchester Road in Wheaton. Not sure if you like barbecued pork? Don't worry; we have a pasta dinner for you and all our vegetarian friends. Dinner will be served from 4 to 6 p.m.

To reserve your tickets, please call our office at 630-955-1123 and give us your name, phone, and how many tickets you'd like. We'll hold them for you at the door.

What does U of I Extension do?

University of Illinois Extension brings the research from the University of Illinois to the community, providing workshops in area libraries, schools, businesses and more. Extension has something to offer everyone. We provide classes on relationship skills, money management, nutrition and wellness, home gardening, youth development, and a variety of other topics.

We reached 118,000 DuPage residents (including 15,000 children) with educational programs last year. By law, we are funded locally by the DuPage County Board, private donations, fundraising, and local organizations, such as HCE, DuPage County Fair Assn. and DuPage 4H Foundation. All locally raised funds are matched by the State of Illinois.
