Sherry Fulton

Unit Educator, Youth

Sherry Fulton is the Youth Unit Educator in DeWitt County. She has a master of science degree from University of Illinois, Urbana/Champaign and she received a bachelor of science degree from Iowa State University in family environment and elementary education.

Fulton began her Extension career in Greene County in 1982. She came to DeWitt County in 1985. She is a member of the Illinois Extension Professionals for Youth Education (IEPYE), where she has served as East Central junior and senior director and state secretary.

Program Offerings

Program Offerings

Fulton works with volunteers in both a 4-H traditional and non-traditional setting. Through her work with volunteers and committees, programs are planned and implemented throughout DeWitt County.

Examples of programs include 4-H community club program, school enrichment programs, 4-H fair, summer workshops, Jr. Master Gardeners, garden club, S.A.F.E. Club, project workshops, 4-H International Night and Cloverbuds (ages 5-7).

She also networks with other agencies to meet the needs of youth through program offerings.
