Students made Earth Day bracelets and edible landfills. The beads on the bracelets represented sun, air, water, soil, day and night. The edible landfill was a graham cracker pie crust with different foods that represented the layers of a landfill. Speakers discussed what to recycle, insects, snakes, trees, soil layers, solar and wind, hurricanes and composting.
