Extension Council

Extension Council Members

The council is responsible for assisting staff with the planning and coordinating of University of Illinois Extension programs. Council members assist in setting program/audience priorities, the delivery and evaluation of programs, and the recruitment of financial and human resources.

Length of service is two years with an opportunity to serve a second consecutive two year term.

Council sub-committees address specific program areas such as natural resources, family and consumer economics, and resource development. Individuals interested in Extension programs may serve on a committee without serving on the Extension council.

Unit Council meetings are held 11:30 a.m.at the Extension office. The schedule of meetings is as follows: November 3, 2008; February 23, April 6, 2009.
