The next 4-H Ambassadors meeting will take place on Monday, October 5 at 6:00 p.m. in the Farm Bureau Building. We will be discussing the Find Out Party and community service activities.

4-H Ambassadors are youth who enjoy the 4-H

program and would like to share their enthusiasm with others in 4-H, schools, government, and the community. If you would like more information about Ambassadors, or would like to join, call the Extension office.

The next 4-H Federation meeting will take place on Monday, October 5 at 7:00 p.m. in the Farm Bureau Building. All 4-H members are welcome to attend these meetings and to get involved in planning county events and activities. The November meeting will be on Monday, November 2 at 7:00 p.m. in the Farm Bureau Building.

The next 4-H Foundation meeting will take place on Thursday, September 17 at 5:30 p.m. in the Farm Bureau Building. This meeting is open to the public. The DeKalb County 4-H Foundation directly supports the 4-H program here in DeKalb County. Anyone interested in joining the 4-H Foundation should call the Extension office.

The Expansion and Review Committee will be meeting on Thursday, September 17 at 7:00 p.m. at the DeKalb County Farm Bureau building. The Expansion and Review Committee is comprised of community members, both adults and youth, that are interested in the 4-H program. They meet 4 times a year to determine how and where the 4-H program needs to expand. If you would like to join call the Extension office at (815) 758-8194.

The next leader's meeting will take place on Wednesday, September 23 at 7:00 p.m. in the Farm Bureau Building. At this meeting we will be handing out beginning of the year packets and talking about the new 4-H year. Each club should have at least one leader from their club at this meeting. Refreshments will be provided by the Extension office. Please let the Extension office know who is coming to the meeting by September 21.
