A Winter Day in the Garden
Our Annual "Winter Day in the Garden" conference reaches 400+ garden enthusiasts participants from Illinois, Indiana, Iowa and Kentucky.

Family Nutrition Program (FNP)
The Food and Nutrition Program targets limited income families with information about food, food safety & nutrition. FNP, which began in Crawford County in 1996, reached 750 adults and 324 children last year.

Grant Resource Center
The Grant Resource Center provides focused searches for local organizations who need grant funding. A monthly Grant Alert is e-mailed to organizations who are interested in obtaining grants. Grant review services are also offered.

Master Gardeners
Master Gardeners receive 14 all-day, indepth, training sessions on horticulture in either Effingham or Charleston on Wednesdays from late January through mid April. Evening classes are also offered through Sullivan County, Indiana from early January through mid April. Over 40 Master Gardeners volunteer their time to sponsor bus trips, gardening & landscape conferences, Jr. Master Gardening programs, and beautification projects in our community.
