On Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009 University of Illinois Extension is sponsoring their annual Home & Community Education Convention that will be held at Landmark Pentecostal Church, Anna, IL from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. Registration cost is only $10 and includes a delicious luncheon, a choice of many interesting lessons, flu shots, free pressure canner testing, vendor booths, door prizes and much more. For more information, call your local U of I Extension office. In Alexander/Pulaski County call: 745-6310, inJohnson County - 658-5321, Massac County - 524-2270 and in Union County - 833-6363. Registration should be submitted by October 19th. The public is invited to participate and you do not have to be an HCE member to attend. If you need special accommodations to attend, please make them know when you register.
