Sonia Lopez has been in the field of public health for nearly 10 years. Ms. Lopez earned her Master's Degree in Public Health from the University of Illinois at Chicago School of Public Health. Her expertise includes a wide range of health promotion programs in university, government, and non-profit, settings. Ms. Lopez uses her expertise to work with underprivileged youth and families promoting healthy behaviors to diminish the impact of health disparities among Latino, African American, and other under-served populations. Sonia is a certified MammaCare^® BSE (breast self-exam) Educator. In addition to breast cancer, Ms. Lopez also conducts programs to address diabetes, asthma, and other chronic diseases, HIV/STIs, body image, teen pregnancy, etc. Ms. Lopez offers programs in English and Spanish.
