Pamela Allen-Tucker is a certified teacher at both the elementary and high school levels. She worked for the Chicago Public Schools for more than 20 years where she taught, and held school leadership positions.
Most recently, Allen-Tucker was an assistant principal at Homewood-Flossmoor High School where she worked for 12 years. She has served on national testing committees and has presented locally and nationally.
Mrs. Allen-Tucker earned her bachelor's degree in education from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, and her master's degrees in both history and education administration from Chicago State University. She is a member of the National Association for Multicultural Education, National Association of Black School Educators, National Association of Secondary School Principals and the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development.
