Annette Vitale-Salajanu

Extension Unit Educator, Immigration

Annette Vitale-Salajanu has more than 20 years experience working with individuals from around the world as an international educator and immigration specialist. She has served as both Director of the International Student and Scholar offices for several universities, and has worked in a variety of governmental positions including immigration specialist and ethnic liaison for a U.S. Senator.

Vitale-Salajanu has experience teaching American Government, and has also taught workshops and seminars on immigration topics, cross cultural communication, and process improvement. She is a member of several professional organizations including NAFSA, an association of international educators, and earned her master's degree in Public Administration from Wayne State University and her bachelor's degree in Urban and Regional Studies from the University of Michigan.
