Welcome to Cook County Extension's on-line guide for immigrants, their families, immigrant service providers, as well as members of the community who wish to know more about their global neighbors.

Through this guide, and our 21st century educational outreach programs, we share information with immigrants about their rights and responsibilities under immigration law, as community residents, about the ins-and-outs of life in Cook County, as well as the opportunities, services, and resources available here.

UIUC Extension offers many valuable courses throughout Cook County for immigrants and the communities they serve. These courses focus on the immigration system and how it works, naturalization and citizenship, and topics which help immigrants to become integrated into the Cook County Community.
