Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is directly linked to how we learn, work, live, and play. ICT Literacy reflects the need for students to develop 21st Century learning skills that enable them to think critically, analyze information, communicate, collaborate, and problem-solve. We recognize that integrating 21st century skills into everyday learning empowers students to learn and achieve at the level necessary to succeed in this century.
Specifically, our EdTech workshops:
• incorporate exciting curricula based on real-world issues into the classroom;
• provide scaffolds and tools to enhance learning and life skills;
• increase awareness of and opportunities for IT careers among youth;
• build skills in creativity, inquiry, and contextual learning;
• emphasize critical-thinking and problem-solving skills;
• encourage frameworks for life-long learning, thinking, and collaboration.
