Class Description: Learn to make furniture, sculpture or garden ware from willow, buckthorn and other pliable earthy materials. This nationally recognized furniture maker will give a talk and a demonstration, and then assist students as they make their own beautiful rustic twig designs. The natural materials will be supplied for the class. Students should bring pruning shears, saw, hammer and cordless drill if you have them. Tor normally presents a 2 day workshop for $80+, so this is a great opportunity at a reasonable price. Please let friends and neighbors who are interested in wood-working, rustic sculpture, garden ornaments know about this class. It is also a great way to get rid of weed trees: buckthorn and willow switches make excellent materials. You can see samples of Tor's work at: www.cfdainfo.org/des/tor/tor
