Hello MG coordinators-

Conference 2007 registration is going very well- thanks for helping us promote the conference and keep up the good work so we have a full conference!

Our conference hotel, the Crowne Plaza, only has limited sleeping rooms left. As of yesterday afternoon, they have 10 rooms for Weds 9-5; 10 rooms for Thurs. 9-6 and 8 rooms for Friday 9-7. MGs should call the local number 217-529-7777 and be sure to tell the attendent that they are with the University of Illinois Extension Master Gardeners. If they say they are with "Master Gardeners" they will likely be told the block is full.

Luckily, there are 8 other hotels within a 6 block area of the Crowne. I do not know the prices orthe availabilty at these other hotels- butI would have my volunteers reserve rooms as soon as possible becauseI understand this is a big time for weddings and local sports events.
