4-H is a community of young people across America learning leadership, citizenship, and life skills. The 4-H program provides exceptional learning experiences for boys and girls ages 8-18.
4-H members may choose from over 150 project areas ranging from aerospace, theatre arts, science, and computers, to small pets, foods, or clothing. Projects are "hands-on" activities and involve "learning-by-doing."
To find out more about these clubs or forming your own 4-H Club, contact the Cook County Extension office in your area.
