An apple program was presented the the kindergarten classes at Washington School on Wednesday, October 8, 2008. "The Apple Story" was read them first. Then an apple was cut open and all were able to see the "star" in the middle. Each child then was able to stamp the apple with a star onto a peice of paper and write the word apple.
