Recipe of the Month

Easy Chicken or Turkey Casserole

(8 Servings)

Ingredients:

2 cups cooked noodles
4 cups (1.5 pound) cooked turkey or chicken
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 cup cheddar cheese, low sodium, cut into small pieces
4 Tablespoons flour
1 cup skim milk or broth
2 Tablespoons melted margarine
1-1/2 cups crushed cornflakes

Instructions:

1. Place cooked noodles in bottom of 9 x 13 inch greased baking pan.
2. Spread cooked turkey or chicken on top of noodles.
3. Mix together soup, cheese and flour.
4. Add broth or milk to soup mixture.
5. Pour over turkey/chicken and noodles.
6. Melt margarine and stir in cornflakes.
7. Sprinkle on casserole.
8. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until casserole starts to bubble.
