Susan Guinnip provides leadership in developing and marketing programs for University of Illinois Extension in Clark County, especially in the agriculture and family life areas. As the Unit Leader, she networks with other community resources and is responsible for the fiscal and facility management.

Guinnip received a Bachelor of Science degree in Fashion Retailing from Purdue University and a Masters in Public Administration from Indiana State University.

She has worked with University of Illinois Extension since 1992, the first two years as the Unit Leader for Clark and Cumberland Counties. Since 1994, Guinnip has been in Clark County. From 1975-1990, she worked as a Extension Youth Agent in Indiana providing youth leadership in Spencer County and in Vigo County.

Guinnip's professional affiliations include Epsilon Sigma Phi and the National Association of Extension 4-H Agents. She was instrumental in establishing the Marshall Area Youth Network and is actively involved in its operation. Guinnip is also on the Board of theMarshall Schools Foundation and St. Mary's Parish Council.
