Jessie Crews is an Extension Educator, 4-H Youth Development for the University of Illinois Extension in the Clark county Unit. Crews providesleadership for the 4-H Youth Development Program including 4-H Community Clubs, 4-H School Enrichment and other Youth Development programs throughout the county.

Crews earned a Masters Degree and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Home Economics Education from Eastern Illinois University.

Crews began her career in Extension in 1984 in Crawford County as a Youth Adviser and has served as an Extension Educator in Clark County since1986.

She is a member of the Illinois Extension Professionals for Youth Education (IEPYE) and the National Association of Extension 4-H Agents. She was instrumental in establishing the Marshall Area Youth Network and currently serves on the Board of Directors.

Crews' leadership includes working with 4-H committees and volunteers to provide 4-H local programming, planning youth workshops and events andtraining volunteers. Together with Community Worker, CarthaGustafson, Crews provides many opportunities for Clark County youth to develop a variety of life skills. Numerous school enrichmentsprograms and the Kidpower Summer Day Camp program are also offered toClark County youth.
