Illinois Small Business Development Center (SBDC)
at University of Illinois Extension
coordinates and delivers management programs, technical assistance and educational programs to small businesses. Services are tailored to meet the unique needs of the existing business owner or manager and potential business owners.
The SBDC takes a case management approach toward small business services. Center staff coordinates its services with other local, state, and national business service providers; for example, local economic development agencies, the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity, and the U.S. Small Business Administration, in order to optimize the use of services and maximize the benefits to clients.
The SBDC offers assistance in:

*Developing, writing, and implementing business plans
*Preparing and implementing budgets
*Cash flow management
*Evaluating legal entities
*Evaluating business acquisitions
