The holiday season is almost here and turkey is always a favorite. The U of I Extension website "Turkey for the Holidays" is loaded with information about cooking techniques, selection, nutrition, food safety issues, how to use leftovers and tasty side dishes to serve.

The Pesticide Safety Education training and testing program will be held on Tuesday, December 1, beginning at 9:00 a.m. in the UI Extension office auditorium. This program will train private pesticide applicators needing re-certification. Advance registration is required along with a $30 fee for training.

Looking for a strong long-term relationship? "How to Avoid Marrying a Jerk or Jerkette" is a 3-part relationship education series designed for young adults, 17 or older, who are seeking, or in-between, a romantic relationship.
