Which community will complete two round-trips to the Moon (954,800 miles) first?
For Moon Walk 2008, the Peoria Tri-County team has upped the ante by challenging Champaign County and Quad Cities to a "Double or Nothing" race of two round-trips to the moon (954,800 miles).
This new community challenge means that we will have to recruit lots of moon walkers! You can help by spreading the word about Moon Walk (registration is continuous throughout the three months), so that Champaign-Urbana can bring home the Moon Walk Walking Stick trophy!
Read the challenge letter from PALM (Peoria Area Labor Management).
