Garden Walk 2004 - Gold Medal Gardens
University of Illinois Extension Master Gardeners of Champaign County hosted Gold Medal Gardens during their Garden Walk in Champaign-Urbana on Sunday, June 20, 2004. Gardeners in Champaign and Urbana allowed the public to view their gardens and admire their unique contributions to the local landscape. The gardens offered something for every gardener-from large to small and from elegant to country. All proceeds from the garden walk help fund Master Gardener projects in Champaign County such as the Idea Demonstration Garden, community garden projects at the Champaign County Juvenile Detention Center, CC Nursing Home, CC Humane Society, Centennial High School, Stratton and the Crisis Nursery, and the purchase of reference materials and Master Gardener scholarships.
