The goal of the youth development program of the University of Illinois Extension is to provide youth opportunities to develop critical life skills Our programs and offerings in Champaign County include: 4-H clubs, school enrichment and after school programs, professional development for individuals working with youth, and volunteer development. What is 4-H?

Plan to attend our "find out" party on Saturday, November 7 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. in the Auditorium. Click here for more information.

Pencils for Kids sponsored by Philo 4-H Friends and the 4-H Ambassadors. This project challenges Champaign County 4-H clubs to collect new pencils for Iraqi children. As many as 6 children share 1 pencil in school. Donations will be accepted until October 30. Simple pencil sharpeners and erasers are welcomed as well. Donations can also be dropped off at the County Office.

Records Workshop - Read, Do, and Review. Find out how to increase your 4-H families 4-H learning experiences by creating and maintaining 4-H records. Saturday, November 7 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Click here for more information.

Warm A Kid is happening again! November 14 is the date. Construction begins at 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 3 p.m. in the Auditorium. Donations of at least 1/2 yard of FLEECE fabric are being requested. Fabric can be dropped by the County Office. Click here for more information.

4-H Officers Basic Training Camp - Monday, November 16 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. in the Auditorium. Click here for details.
