Committees
Extension Foundation -- Provide support to 4-H through fundraising activities.
Youth Committee -- Assists and advises 4-H Extension Staff set priorities and goals for the 4-H program. Assist in implementing and eveluating its activities.
Horse Committee -- Plan, coordinate and carry out activities and events related to horse project (i.e. horse bowl, horse judging, judging teams, team tournament, project workshops and horse show). Time commitment is 6 to 7 meetings yearly and the various events and activities.
Livestock Committee -- Plan and carry out activities as they relate to the livestock shows. Also help establish policies and procedures as they relate to those events. Time commitment is 4 to 6 meetings yearly.
Expansion & Review Committee -- Responsible for expanding and reviewing 4-H and youth development programs in the county. Time commitment is at least 4 meetings yearly.
Special Events or Activities
Project Workshop Leaders -- Plan and conduct a workshop for 4-H members related to a specific project or hobby. Time commitment involves planning and publicizing the workshop and leading the actual workshop. (approximately 4-6 hours)
Project Superintendent -- Help in a specific project area during the summer show season by checking in 4-Hers and their projects, keeping the judging of that project area running smoothly, set-up of the project area display, and helping with check-out. Time commitment includes set-up, clean-up, orientation before judging, check-in, and check-out (approximately 6 to 8 hours).
