Bullying is not just a phase or natural behavior. Bullying may lead to serious behavior problems. Yet, teachers and parents are often reluctant to intervene with bullying by either helping the bully or the victim. U of I Extension staff can provide workshops for teachers and parents on the subject of bullying . . . How to deal with the bully, how to help the victim, how to identify when bullying may be a problem, and how to create an environment that is bully-free.
