Jodie Tate earned a bachelor's degree in agriculture business from Western Illinois University and a master's degree in agriculture economics from Colorado State University.

In addition to her Natural Resources Management Educator position, Jodie also serves as the Coordinator for Illinois Council on Best Management Practices (www.cbmp.uiuc.edu).

Tate is a member of the Association of Natural Resource Extension Professionals (ANREP) and the Soil and Water Conservation Society (SWCS).
