The Extension Council comprised of local residents serves in an advisory capacity to the Extension staff to coordinate, organize and plan programming in the county. The University of Illinois Extension provides the latest research results to develop educational programs that make life better, healthier, safer, and more rewarding for the residents of Calhoun and Jersey County each year.

Chairperson is Terry Strauch, Hamburg, Justin Goetten, Jerseyville, as Vice Chairperson, Judy Schlafer, Dow, as Secretary and Debbie Herren, Kampsville, as Treasurer.
