Bureau County 4-H Fair Show
This three-day event is the culmination of all the 4-H youth's hard work and efforts on the projects they have chosen to participate in during the year.
Bureau County After-school Programs
After-school Programs encompass all ages with grades K-8 receiving programs and grades 9-12 assisting with programs.
Bureau County Master Gardener
Master Gardeners are a group of volunteers trained by University of Illinois Extension educators to provide a network of gardening programs and horticultural activities to educate the public and enhance life in their communities.
Bureau County Plant & Insect Diagnostics
In July, 1999, University of Illinois Extension launched a new, high-tech system for diagnosing plant disease, weed and insect problems and identification for homeowners and farmers. The Bureau County Extension office was one of 12 pilot sites tested in Illinois. Currently this digital-imaging, web-based system is being used in University of Illinois Extension offices statewide.
Bureau County Youth Development Coalition
The purpose of the Bureau County Youth Development Coalition is to bring together interested and concerned individuals, groups, and agencies, to help develop and implement a plan to address issues that affect our county's youth. Our goal is to assist families, and to assist youth in becoming involved and caring members of our community. The next Coalition meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, May 28, at the Extension Office, 850 Thompson Street (Becker Professional Suites), Princeton. The Executive Board will meet from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m., followed by the full Coalition meeting at 3:00 p.m. Please be sure to checkout the updated Bureau County Resource Directory available for download in the Program Forms & Download section.
