4-H and Youth

4-H Clubs

A 4-H Community Club must have at least five members, ages 8-19, and one volunteer leader. The group must meet a minimum of six times during the year. The traditional 4-H Community Club offers it's members leadership opportunities through roles as officers of the club.

All youth programs, including 4-H Community Clubs, works best when parents are involved. Parents are encouraged to actively support the efforts of the 4-H Club group by helping with special events, refreshments, transportation, or in other ways as needed.

Cloverbuds is a program for all Bureau County youth ages 5-7 or in grades K-2 as of September 1, 2009. Cloverbuds provides youth and their families with fun, hands-on educational activities that promote group interaction and cooperation.
