The November 4-H Representatives' meeting was held on Sunday, November 15th. The next 4-H Representatives meeting is scheduled for Sunday, December 13th from 4 to 5 p.m. at the Farm Bureau Meeting Room.
If you are a 4-H member who is from 11 to 18 years of age, please plan on attending the 2009-2010 4-H Representatives. It is a fun way to help plan events and be a part of the behind-the-scenes fun and excitement!
Volunteers needed for the Farm Heritage Museum
If your club is interested in helping out in the community, there is an opportunity to help out at the Farm Heritage Museum with the holiday boxes that are on display. The Liberty 4-H club helped out last winter and did a great job of helping with this event. If you and your club are interested in being a part of this community service project, please call the Wayne Pierce at 664-3434.
Volunteers will be singing Christmas carols. It is nice to help out in the community during the year and especially during the holidays.
Bell Ringers needed for Salvation Army
Another community event that your club could participate in during the holiday season is ringing the bells for the Salvation Army. Adult or older high school members must be present while younger 4-H members help out with this community project. Bell, kettle, and sometimes apron is provided. Contact Dan Jensen at 664-2210.
Volunteering in the community is beneficial to you as an individual as well as the organization in which you volunteer with.
November 7th was the 4-H Achievement night. This was a night of awards and recognition.
