Today's Features

Starting on Tuesday, June 10th, and for the next 4-6 weeks Dog Obedience classes will be offered from 7 p.m. until 8:15 p.m. at the Bond County Fairgrounds next to the 4-H Building.

Bring your Dog on a leash, rabies certificate or Rabies tag, water with bowl, and doggie treats.

If you are taking Dog projects in Dog Obedience or Dog Showmanship, this weekly class will be offered for the next 4-6 weeks. Due to the late offering of this class, the Dog Show Day on June 28th will be moved to sometime in July.

Discover Chicago will be October 11-13th. All Southern Illinois youth who are in grades 5-7 during the 2008-2009 school year can attend.

See aquatic animals at Shedd Aquarium, view Chicago from the John Hancock Center, dine at Medieval Times, tour a Boeing 727 jet, take a train trip to the Museum of Science and Industry, enjoy dining at the Rainforest Cafe, and "See Sue, the world famous Tyrannosaurs rex" and ancient Egyptian mummies at the historic Field Museum.

The cost is $295 (includes admission to all attractions, lodging at the Embassy Suites Hotel, meals, charter bus transportation and insurance).
