Freedom From Smoking

Did you know that smoking is responsible for one in five deaths in the United States? Kick the habit now with the American Lung Associations' Freedom From Smoking program offered through Blessing Hospital at the Mt. Sterling YMCA. Freedom From Smoking provides a supportive and structured approach to quitting smoking. Also, the program includes a variety of evidence-based cessation practices. The program meets for seven weeks with eight total sessions lasting about an hour each. Cost for this program is $150, but if you smoke a pack a day for seven weeks you would be spending close to $250. Registration fee includes a program manual/workbook and a CD.
