Join us August 5, 2006 for another fun-filled Locally Grown FoodFest at Washington Park in Quincy, IL.The event will once again host a variety of events to please every palate. The popular chefs competition is back again this year, joined by a kids cook-off. Music will be provided by a variety of local musicians; food vendors will sell local products such as watermelon, pork sandwiches, herbal tea, sweet corn, and ice cream; farmers will be on hand selling their locally grown produce; family activities will include a kiddie tractor pull, watermelon eating contest, sack races, and Klutzy the Clown, just to name a few.
