Local Flavor
Tickets for the Local Flavor Dinner are now available at the Busy Bistro or University of Illinois Extension.
The dinner is Thursday, June 1, 2006 from 6 to 9 pm at the Busy Bistro. Tickets are $40 per person. The menu will feature local foods grown by area farmers. Each course will be accompanied by a glass of local wine. Outstanding local musicians will entertain throughout the evening. Proceeds will benefit the 2nd Annual Locally Grown FoodFest scheduled for Saturday, August 5th.

Locally Grown: Join Us at the Market
University of Illinois Extension in collaboration with the Quincy Farmers Market will be offering a variety of events throughout this growing season to celebrate locally produced food. Join us in Washington Park on opening day, May 13, 2006; the first Saturday of June, July and August (the date of the FoodFest); and closing day on September 30, 2006.Posted by Brenda E.
