Various fundraisers held benefiting the Brown County Emergency Services Building
Beautification of Main Street
Welcome packets assembled and distributed as needed to new residents
Expanded broadband access in Brown County
Survey completed for Plan Commission
Focus on Results has been implemented in our schools
Poverty Simulation Workshop for Brown County
Real Life Simulation for BCHS students
Teacher and Support Staff Appreciation Committee established
Secured area businesses to provide financial support for catering needed on Professional Development Training for school staff
With assistance from the Brown County Democrat Message, a published Brown County Wellness Directory
Public Transportation for anyone who needs it-WCMTD
"Citizens Against Underage Drinking" committee formed (CAUD)
Health Screenings for various purposes held on an on-going basis
Highlighted RSVP works in Brown County
Annual Back to School Fair for students (immunizations, supplies, etc)
Raised enough money to landscape the Joel Oliver Memorial Swimming Pool by holding bake sales and car washes
T-Shirts have been purchased from donations and money raised by team
Planters at 4-way stop - joint venture with Health & Social Services Team and BCHS Industrial Arts Class
Landscaping at BCHS and BCMS cleaned up BSS!
Recycling program established
Developed and completed teacher retention survey
Held teacher and staff appreciation dinner social
Provided flu shots on site for teachers at deferred cost
Help with needs for EMS/Ambulance Service
Held Mental Health/Depression seminar
Applied for Safe Routes to School grant program for upgraded infrastructure
Raised funds and completed the Butch Bowen Memorial Skate Park
Made upgrades to Mt. Sterling Lake facility including playground equipment and making boat ramp handicap accessible in coordination with EMC
