Housing & Economic Development

Statement of Purpose: The Housing and Economic Development Action Team is committed to enhancing and expanding the housing stock in Brown County while educating the public on options and incentives for home ownership. They are also developing strategies for economic development appropriate to the community and the time.

Goals Accomplished:

• Consolidation of information for potential new residents/new homeowners into a flyer/pamphlet
• Expanded broadband access in Brown County
• Survey completed for Plan Commission
• Applied for Safe Routes to School grant program for upgraded infrastructure
