Youth Involvement

Statement of Purpose: The Youth Involvement Action Team is committed to making Brown County a better place for all youth by providing activities that the youth desire, that encourage involvement for all ages, and for the betterment of Brown County.

Goals Accomplished:

• Raised enough money to landscape the Joel Oliver Memorial Swimming Pool by holding bake sales and car washes
• T-Shirts have been purchased from donations and money raised by team
• Planters at 4-way stop - joint venture with Health & Social Services Team and BCHS Industrial Arts Class
• Landscaping at BCHS and BCMS
• Acquired grant to fund and completed lanscaping projects at BCES
• Made major upgrades to Mt. Sterling Lake facility including playground equipment and making boat ramp handicap accessible in coordination with EMC
• Held numerous fundraisers including 'rent-a-teen', a fish fry, bake sales, etc to funancially support projects
